Celebration of Your Child
On Academic Review Day all students in Years 7 to 13 meet their form tutors or members of the Senior Leadership team, to review how the year is progressing and check that students are clear in their minds about their priorities for personal development over the rest of the year. During a 15 minute interview you will be able to discuss your son or daughter’s academic progress, review previous targets if applicable and to discuss future improvement targets. Additionally, tutors will be able share with you any special successes or concerns that staff have brought to their attention, and respond to any concerns you have raised in advance of the meeting.
Please see the attached letter for full details and how to make your appointment.
We are hoping that this years’ Academic Review Day will offer you a unique opportunity to see all that Barclay School has to offer from celebrating the work of your child to also exploring other areas of support available (as detailed overleaf). The dining room will be open and serving light refreshments between 8:00am and 2:00pm. Senior staff will also be available to discuss any relevant issues.
